| 1996 | The Corps celebrates 10 years of operations, is honored as Outstanding Youth Program by the City of Los Angeles Community Development Department, and receives PEPNet (Promising and Effective Practices Network) Award from the National Youth Employment Coalition |
| 1997 | Charter high school begins to offer diploma program to corpsmembers |
| 1998 | Vice President Al Gore speaks at Annual Luncheon Celebration |
| 2000 | U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexis Herman speaks at Annual Luncheon Celebration |
| 2001 | The Corps receives recognition from National Youth Employment Coalition as PEPNet Renewal Awardee |
| 2003 | The Corps is recognized as an Excellence in Corps Operations (ECO) corps by The Corps Network for high standards in program operations and outcomes |
| 2004 | Charter school sites accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges |
| 2006 | The Corps receives Kodak-American Greenways Award from The Conservation Fund |
| 2007 | The Corps is honored by the Central City Association with a City of Los Angeles Treasure Award |
| 2008 | First Lady of California Maria Shriver is Special Guest at Annual Luncheon Celebration |
| 2009 | The Honorable Wendy Greuel, City Controller-Elect is Special Speaker at the Annual Luncheon |
| 2010 | The Honorable Eric Garcetti, LA City Council President is Special Speaker at the Annual Luncheon. A record number of 152 scholarships are awarded. |
