Case & Transition Supervisor

The Case & Transition Supervisor will help implement the mission of the LA Conservation Corps by using his or her management, supervisory, technical and personal skills to develop the skills of young people that enable them to advocate, plan and pursue their own education and career goals through the LA Conservation Corps Career Pathways program. The primary responsibility of the Case & Transition Supervisor is to assist program participants with making a successful transition from the Corps into employment and advanced training in the various fields related to the LA Conservation Corps Career Pathways, including but not limited to “Green Jobs”, with trade unions, private and public sector employers.

The Case & Transition Supervisor accomplishes this mission by further developing the Vocational Services and Transition Program with support from the Vocational Training and Transition Services Coordinator. Bridging opportunities and services from relationships with employers, educational and training institutions and other private and public organizations for participants will be an essential task.  The Supervisor will assist with creating exploration programs and facilitate employment opportunities in a respectful and nurturing environment. The Case & Transition Supervisor will ensure that the Corps’ transition program best fits the needs of our participants. Other duties may be assigned as required.
